Hello from my dining table! I had quite the busy-bee weekend and wanted to try documenting it on Substack. I often feel overwhelmed by my calendar. I’m in a funky in-between place of trying to be with people while also being selective of my time and energy. If I lean too far towards the former, I end up feeling burnt out and it drastically impacts my mental health. However, if I go too far in the opposite direction, I end up feeling isolated and adrift. Anyone else figuring this out? I’m not sure where this weekend falls on the spectrum. Perhaps a little too packed? But I enjoyed every part of it, minus the bad mood™. Anyhow—without further ado, my weekend!
As always, thank you for reading! Speaking of, what are you reading right now? Not that I need new ideas…I have about 8 books I haven’t read sitting on my shelf…but I want to know anyhow!!
xo,

Such a full and lovely weekend...and how ever could it be lovely if there wasn't a bad mood mixed in? I love how you note it, accept it and know how to soften its edges. xoxoxoxo muah!
Currently reading "There is no Ethan" on Kindle, listening to "Twisted Games" on Libby, and reading a physical copy of "The Once and Future Witches." Too many books? No such thing!
I also had mixed feelings about "All Fours." I was incredulous about the hotel/ road trip part... the whole thing was ridiculously unbelievable and made me really dislike the narrator.
